Seagulls Sign Two

Bray Wanderers have announced the signings of Graham Kelly from Athlone Town and Jamie McGlynn from Shelbourne.

23 year old Kelly started his senior career with English Championship side Derby County in 2008. In 2010, Kelly was loaned to Bray Wanderers and the following season, he signed permanently for Bray. In his first full season at the Carlisle, Kelly made 14 league appearances, scoring once in a 6-0 victory over Galway United. The 2012 season was a disappointing one for the midfielder, making just 6 appearances. Kelly left the club at the end of the season.

In January 2013, Kelly joined up with Roddy Collins at Athlone Town for a pre-season friendly against UCD. He also turned out for UCD a week later when they took on Shamrock Rovers but did not sign a contract with either club. Instead, Kelly signed for First Division side Salthill Devon.

Kelly made 10 league appearances for Salthill Devon and scored twice but left the club at the end of July to sign for Athlone Town. He made 7 league appearances over the final months of the season as Athlone claimed the 2013 First Division title.

McGlynn started his career at St. Patrick's Athletic, playing for their U19 side for the 2011/12 season and for half of the 2012/13 season. The left-back then went on to sign for Salthill Devon at the beginning of 2013. He made 11 league appearances for the Galway side.

In July 2013, McGlynn went on trial at Shelbourne, and sided for them a few days later. He made is Shels debut against St. Patrick's Athletic the following month, and went on to make 5 league appearances for the Reds.

The signings of Graham Kelly and Jamie McGlynn bring the total number of new signings at Bray under Alan Mathews to four ahead of the 2014 season.
